Since 2008, we have entrusted our wines to the sea.

Since 2008, the wines of Tenuta Del Paguro have slowly descended into the Adriatic Sea, in the area of the Paguro wreck, where where the sea does not hasten, does not correct, it simply accompanies.
Each bottle passes through a different time, one that can never be replicated.

The Wreck

The Paguro was a methane extraction platform.
During drilling operations, an explosion caused it to sink.

The structure remained on the seabed,
about twelve miles off the coast of Ravenna.
Over the years, the metal has transformed.
Sponges, corals, crustaceans, and fish
have colonized every surface.

What was once an industrial accident
is now one of the most remarkable underwater oases in the Adriatic.
