From Platform to Cellar
In 1965 a tragic explosion sets fire to the Paguro methane platform, which sinks into the depths of the Adriatic. Over time, nature has taken possession of the giant of iron and steel, transforming it into a natural reef unusual for the sandy bottoms of the Romagna coast.
In that protected area we refine our wine.
The spark
In 2008, during a friendly chat with Tonino Guerra, Gianluca Grilli learns about the history of the Paguro Platform. Curiosity is intertwined with a passion for food and wine, and Gianluca begins a path of research and enological innovation regarding the relationship over time between brackish water and wine.

The wine remains submerged between 12 and 18 months at a depth of about 30 meters, maturing without altering its harmonious and rounded taste, thanks to these 4 important factors:
